We are seeking a highly skilled Tractor Mechanic to join our team at CANADA INC. in this permanent position.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced mechanic to work on heavy equipment, including tractors, trucks, and machinery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and repairing or replacing defective parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on repair techniques and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex problems using computerized testing equipment and other diagnostic tools.
  • Order parts and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Adjust and repair equipment, weld components as needed, and test repaired units for proper performance.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment condition.
  • Service attachments and working tools, verify and repair emission control systems.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in tractor maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This role involves physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
