About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance and Repair Electrician to join our team at our facility in Kitchener, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include performing scheduled maintenance tasks, responding to breakdowns, completing detailed work logs, and ensuring compliance with electrical safety codes and regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A licensed 442A or 309A Electrician certification
- Strong working knowledge of electrical safety codes and regulations
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with PLCs, variable frequency drives, and motion control
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide guidance and training to junior tradespersons
