Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed. They will also work closely with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze medical information from patients and other healthcare professionals
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations to identify diseases and injuries
  • Order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate treatment
  • Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed
  • Provide inoculations and vaccinations to prevent and treat diseases
  • Act as a patient advocate and coordinate primary patient care
  • Provide acute care management and emergency care as required
  • Offer counseling and support to patients and their families on various health and lifestyle issues
Requirements
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a clinic setting, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking required throughout the day.

Language and Work Term

The primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent.

Hours of Work

The hours of work will be 30 to 48 hours per week.
