We are seeking a skilled and experienced 421A Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our team at Transparent Search Group in Hamilton, ON. As a key member of our Client team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Accurately document all repairs and maintenance performed
- Communicate with clients and team members to ensure timely and effective completion of projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions on time
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Valid 421A Heavy Duty Mechanic license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
