Job Title: Food Inspector

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Inspector to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate foodborne illness outbreaks and provide guidance to employees and management on food safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of food preparation and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans to prevent foodborne illnesses and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address food safety risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and education to employees on food safety procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. food science, public health, environmental health).
  • 1-7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Basic security clearance.
