Job Title: Cook's Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cook's Helper to join our team at JM and Eat n Run - Indian Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting our cooks in preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist cooks in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Help with food portioning, wrapping, and packaging.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards as needed.
  • Assist with serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the kitchen staff.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Positive attitude and team player.
Working Conditions:
