Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at AYR Motor Express Inc. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Drive: Straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspection: Oversee all aspects of vehicle and perform necessary checks
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide professional service
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
  • Transportation: Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Communication Systems: Experience with Citizens band (CB) radio and Trip recorder (on-board computer)
  • Transportation/Travel Experience: International, Long-haul, National, Provincial/Territorial
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), and Drug test
