**About the Role**
We are seeking an exceptional Category Director, Wholesale to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and success across our wholesale sector.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies to achieve sales and market share objectives.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to achieve category objectives, including Marketing, Finance, Promotions, Brands, Operations & Vendors.
- Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports to drive business results and colleague development.
- Collaborate with the vendor community to maximize sales and profit.
About You:
- 5-7 years of business experience in marketing, merchandising, or pricing roles.
- 5-7 years of leadership experience, encompassing coaching, mentoring, recruitment, selection, and performance management expertise.
- Excellent communication skills up, down, and across the enterprise.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L statements.
