Job Summary

Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain a range of heavy vehicles, including straight and articulated trucks, to transport goods and materials.
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, using computer equipment and GPS technology.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, including performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, and ensure they are properly secured for transport.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
