Job Summary- Works under the direction of the classroom teacher and District personnel to provide care for students.
- Develops and implements instructional materials, games, and learning centres to support student learning.
- Uses technology and adaptive tools to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
- Supports student learning by providing feedback and guidance on daily work.
- Assists teachers in developing and implementing behaviour management plans.
- Provides person/health care and physical safety assistance to students.
- Grade 12 or equivalency.
- Must be willing to maintain current CPI status.
- Level 1 First Aid Certificate may be required.
- Education Assistant Certificate, including documented training in areas such as pervasive developmental disorders, personal care, technology-assisted programs, and behaviour support.
