About the Role

The School District #39 (Vancouver) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our team. As an Educational Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic and social development of students in our district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments of students to identify areas of strength and need
  • Develop and implement individualized program strategies and modifications to support student learning
  • Collaborate with school-based teams to determine assessment requests and develop support plans
  • Provide professional development and training to teachers and staff on topics related to student assessment and support
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in educational psychology and apply this knowledge to inform practice
Requirements
  • Master's degree in School and/or Educational Psychology
  • Certified or able to be certified by the College of Psychologists
  • Bachelor of Education and classroom teaching experience is an asset
