Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor in Software Systems Engineering Position

The University of Regina is seeking a tenure-track faculty member to join the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, conduct research and development, and engage in service activities.
The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science offers five accredited programs in Electronic, Environmental, Industrial, Petroleum, and Software Systems Engineering. The University values experiential learning, cross-disciplinary teaching, and public service.
We are looking for an individual with a Ph.D. degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. The successful candidate must have the ability to teach and conduct research in one or more areas of specialization, with a preference for those with industrial experience.
The Software Systems Engineering program is designed to educate students in the professional construction and engineering of software systems and their life cycles. Examples of such systems include web transactional systems, management information systems, interactive multimedia systems, and more.
We welcome applicants who are registered as Professional Engineers in Saskatchewan and have a strong commitment to applied engineering research and teaching.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in software systems and engineering.
- Conduct research and development in one or more areas of specialization.
- Engage in service activities within the Faculty and the University.
