Job Summary

As a seasoned Operating Room Nurse with Greenstaff Medical Canada, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that offers a range of per-diem and travel contracts. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality talent across Canada, and we are seeking a skilled RN to join our ranks.

About the Role

This is a project-based position with competitive pay and ample opportunities for advancement. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience in the Operating room with full scope of practice. You will be responsible for ensuring that the nursing facility's policies, procedures, and standards are followed, completing medical records by federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment by all local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and evaluate patient health status and progress.
  • Communicate with physicians and staff members to plan patient care.
  • Provide information regarding the status of patients to physicians or other care providers.

Qualifications:
  • A Registered Nurse with current licensure.
  • Active BLS/CPR Certification.
  • Peri-operative certification.
  • Knowledge of operating room practices required.
  • Immunization Record (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Two-Step TB (Or Chest X-Ray if two-step TB is not there).

What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of $60-$65 per hour.
  • No less than 36 hours per week.
  • Relocation assistance.
  • Schedule flexibility, including 10 hour shifts, 12 hour shifts, 4 hour shifts, day shifts, evening shifts, weekends as needed, holidays, and more.
