Creative Arts Program Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Leads innovative varied creative arts programs that meet client needs, assists departmental colleagues in planning for special events, i.e., central holiday events/programs including creating decor.
- Works with Volunteer Services and staff to identify needs and to recruit volunteers for specific activities, supervises volunteers.
- Functions as part of an interprofessional team, attends staff meetings and reports as needed on the Creative Arts program and on client concerns, minute taking.
- Assists team in assessing new referrals and facilitates the integration of new clients into the program.
- Provides some creative arts-based programming for Adult Day Programs at Baycrest for in-person and virtual programming.
- Maintains compliance with policies and procedures for a safe work environment, including operation of equipment, maintains an organized and neat workspace.
- Maintains creative arts supplies, inventory, and equipment in good working order, initiates purchase requisitions with supporting documentation for supplies, equipment etc.
