Job Title: Home Childcare Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at 1803854 Alberta Ltd. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to families in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, and prepare nutritious meals for children.
  • Travel with families on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare infants and children for rest periods.
  • Supervise and care for children, and take children to and from school and to appointments.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, and help children with homework.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license, and a medical exam.
  • Ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility, initiative, and reliability.
Work Environment:

The work environment will be in the employer's home, and the Home Childcare Provider will be required to relocate if necessary.

Language:

The primary language of work will be English.Hours:

The Home Childcare Provider will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
