As a Senior Automation Engineer at Arc'teryx, you will be a key member of our dynamic manufacturing engineering team, driving innovation and efficiency in our production processes. Your expertise in automation technologies and engineering principles will enable you to develop and implement cutting-edge automated systems, enhancing product quality and production efficiency across our operations.

About the Role:
  • Lead the development and implementation of automated systems to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze current systems and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and sustainable equipment solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced automation systems tailored for technical apparel manufacturing.
  • Partner with equipment suppliers and integrators to improve quality and productivity of current manufacturing processes.

About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, specializing in mechanical or mechatronics.
  • 5+ years of experience in related field, with proven experience as an automation engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and common troubleshooting techniques, with a commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Experience working in an apparel or outdoor equipment manufacturing facility, with sound knowledge of garment or equipment construction.
  • Leadership experience, with ability to effectively pass knowledge on and train others.

What We Offer:
A competitive salary range of CAD$91,000 - CAD$114,000 per year, plus a bonus program and benefits.
