Machinist Technician

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Technician to join our team at Machine and Tool Products. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to precision machining, including reading and interpreting engineering drawings, repairing machine tools and parts, and setting up and adjusting production machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production
- Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance
- Set up and adjust production machinery to meet quality and productivity standards
- Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
- Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
- Trade certification in Machinist or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of precision machining principles and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and lifting up to 23 kg
