Job Summary: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our pediatric unit as a Child Health Care Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating care for patients from birth to 18 years old and will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate care for patients, including arranging transportation, scheduling appointments, and communicating with families and healthcare teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address complex patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
  • Minimum 1 year of current experience in pediatric care settings.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
