CompensationWe offer competitive salaries, with estimated annual earnings ranging from $80,000 to $110,000, depending on experience and shift preferences.
Job DescriptionThe Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) role at RhynoCare involves providing high-quality nursing care to residents in various facilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized care according to established policies, physician orders, and resident plans.
- Delivering excellent nursing and personal care in assigned home areas, adhering to sound nursing principles.
- Evaluating admission processes, ensuring timely and safe transfers and discharges.
- Maintaining accurate records, managing medications, and adhering to safety protocols.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Ability to work with patients who have infectious diseases.
- BLS certification and valid first aid & CPR credentials.
- Current immunizations, TB skin test, and hepatitis B clearance.
- Vulnerable sector police check and reliable transportation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work independently or as part of a team.
RhynoCare offers flexible scheduling, including 8- or 12-hour shifts, with opportunities to 'float' between units within a hospital. You will be expected to work consistently and reliably, with adherence to our shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
