About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at Dawson Creek Barbershop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional haircutting and grooming services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences
  • Shampoo customers' hair
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, as well as scalp conditioning massages

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees

Support for Indigenous People:

  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
  • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers

Work Environment:

  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
