About the Role:

The Human Resources Manager will work closely with internal teams to support HR initiatives and resolve issues as needed. This includes advising and supporting managers on employee relations, employment law, and disciplinary actions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist in a progressive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide recruitment support, manage the selection process, and ensure accurate job descriptions
  • Advise and support managers on employee relations, employment law, and disciplinary actions
  • Assist with performance management and talent reviews, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Oversee onboarding, including HRIS updates, insurance, benefits, and training
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage employee movements such as transfers, promotions, and resignations
  • Provide payroll verification, including salaries, bonuses, and tax deductions
  • Support benefits administration, including insurance enrolment and PTO management
  • Coordinate compensation planning, including salary adjustments, promotions, and market alignment

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist in a progressive manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and Canadian benefits administration
  • Knowledge of Ontario HR regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 and HRIS systems
  • Leadership skills and the ability to resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Strong business acumen and ability to execute HR and business strategies

Benefits:

  • Salary range $125,000-$145,000 per year (based on experience) plus 10% bonus
