Job Overview:

MAG Aerospace Canada Corp is a premier supplier of special-mission aircraft, and we are seeking an experienced Wildfire Detection Specialist to join our team. As a key player in aerial fire detection and airspace management services in Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan, we require a highly skilled pilot with a strong understanding of VFR patrols and the role of early wildfire detection in government strategy.

About the Role:

  • Conduct VFR patrols as Pilot-In-Command of the Cessna 337 Skymaster in search of lightning and human-caused wildfires across Northern Ontario.
  • Support MAG's Fire and Survey contracts by providing critical aerial fire detection services.

Key Qualifications:

  • Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License and Multi-Engine Rating.
  • Category 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Valid Group 1 Instrument Rating (Ideal but not mandatory).

Benefits:

  • Retention bonus at end of contract.
  • Signing bonus upon obtaining PPC.
  • Per diems paid when off base.
  • Fixed salary, unaffected by periods of low activity.
