We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Resident Manager at Summerhill Place Apartments in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service to residents and potential residents. As an Assistant Resident Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, performing minor maintenance repairs, and preparing apartments for new residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning common areas of the property, including hallways, stairs, and elevators
  • Performing minor maintenance repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets and replacing light bulbs
  • Preparing apartments for new residents, including cleaning and setting up furniture and appliances
  • Providing exceptional customer service to residents and potential residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting with leasing suites, including showing apartments and answering questions about the property
  • Responding to on-call requests, including handling emergency situations and providing support to residents

Requirements

  • Cleaning experience, including experience with cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Minor maintenance skills, including experience with basic tools and equipment
  • Customer service skills, including experience working with the public and providing excellent service
  • Ability to work in a team environment, including experience working with colleagues and supervisors
  • Ability to work some on-call evening and weekend shifts, including experience working flexible hours and responding to emergency situations
