Job Summary

Ultramet Industries Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to conduct component defect investigations, examinations, and tests. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations and examinations of components to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze data from accidents and incidents to identify trends and root causes.
  • Inspect and evaluate material and equipment to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Remove and replace defective parts to maintain product quality.
  • Monitor gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify processing conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete inspection reports.
  • Ensure procedures are conducted in accordance with laws and regulations.
  • Verify that process steps are carried out according to specifications.
  • Ensure product quality meets established standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and organizational skills.
Work Environment

This is a temporary position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
