Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The successful candidate will provide clinical services to individuals in a mental health, psychosocial or addiction crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in a mental health, psychosocial or addiction crisis.
  • Collaborate with the Crisis Response Centre and Rapid Access to Addictions Medicine (RAAM) Clinical Team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Conduct assessments and provide interventions to individuals in crisis.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families.
Requirements
  • Four years of related community experience.
  • Expertise in the area of mental health and addictions.
  • RN/BN or RPN/BRPN required.
  • Addiction related training such as The Core Addictions Practices certificate or equivalent education and training experience in substance use/dependency is an asset.
  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).
  • Suicide Assessment and Intervention Training.
  • Trauma Informed Care Training.
  • Completion of MICST (Manitoba Indigenous Cultural Safety Training).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle preferred.
