About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Cochrane Nissan. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
  • Discuss work with supervisor to determine repair or replacement of units
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services and test repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and excellent oral communication skills. You will be working in a team environment and will be required to coach and instruct apprentices.
