Job Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain petroleum equipment, systems, and accessories essential to site operation;
  • Repair and maintain leak detection systems;
  • Maintain professionalism, sensitivity, and tact to portray the Company in a positive manner always;
  • Exercise considerable independent judgment in solving unusual work problems;
  • Help maintain strong, trustworthy, and lasting relationships with our existing and new clients to ensure repeat business and referrals;
  • Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed;
  • Possess the physical and mental capabilities to work under stress and control multiple tasks at a time;
  • Scheduling involves being part of an on-call 24/7 rotation.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Very mechanically inclined, with an affinity for solving mechanical problems;
  • Clean Driver's Abstract and Valid Driver's License;
  • Enjoy working alongside a team and operating independently;
  • Can make wise judgments when working independently, with no direct supervision;
  • Enjoy being on the road and visiting new places;
  • Always looking for ways to do things better and more efficiently;
  • Desire to continually learn and follow directions when needed;
  • Organized, timely, and professional;
  • Moderate computer skills;
  • Take pride in customer satisfaction;
  • Excellent Communication skills;
  • Proven Customer Service Skills;

Additional Assets

  • Electrical expertise (in petroleum or otherwise) or an understanding of electrical concepts and basic programming;
  • TSSA Petroleum Mechanic Certifications (PM1, PM2, PM3, or PMH);
  • Measurement Canada Certified Inspector.
