Job Title: Dance Instructor

Join Young Bhangra as a Dance Instructor and be part of a dynamic team that shares a passion for traditional folk dance. As a Dance Instructor, you will play a key role in teaching dance techniques and artistic interpretation to our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare students for auditions and performances
  • Teach dance techniques and artistic interpretation
  • Perform dances
  • Practice and rehearse dance routines
  • Train to maintain high levels of technical proficiency
Work Environment:

Our dance academy or school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for our students to learn and grow. As a Dance Instructor, you will work under pressure and be physically demanding, but also have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and staff.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities
