Production Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:
Sonoco is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove finished goods from all slitter machine areas and package them according to packing specifications.
- Enter quantities into company computer reporting systems.
- Transport work-in-process materials through the production process and support production departments.
- Prepare finished goods for shipment and verify materials for Shipping/Receiving.
- Load and unload finished goods onto trucks.
- Communicate and coordinate with previous and following shifts.
- Maintain all company health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Requirements:
- Good level of computer and mechanical aptitude skills.
- Prior production/warehouse experience.
- Familiarity with ISO/LO/TO.
- Valid fork-truck license.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
- Availability to work 12-hour rotating continental shifts.
- Age 18 or older.
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
