Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Frontend Web Developer to join our team of big thinkers, doers, movers, and shakers. As a Frontend Web Developer, you will play a critical role in building web applications that meet the highest standards of security, performance, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities- Build web applications with web development best practices, ensuring a seamless user experience and robust security features.
- Transform app designs into front-end code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, working closely with our design team to bring their vision to life.
- Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design, collaborating with our product team to ensure alignment.
- Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations to ensure our web applications are always running at peak performance.
- On-site search engine optimization (SEO) to improve our online visibility and reach a wider audience.
- Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code that meets the highest standards of security and performance.
- Prior experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with a strong foundation in web development and security.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue, as well as JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap.
- Proficient working knowledge of web-based accessibility practices, ensuring our web applications are accessible to all users.
- Basic proficiency with Photoshop and web design, with a strong understanding of visual design principles.
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing, ensuring our web applications work seamlessly across all browsers and devices.
- The ideal candidate will also be skilled in video editing and graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work that showcases their creative skills.
