About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Manager to join our team at Harbourfront Wealth Management Inc. in Toronto. This role represents a unique opportunity to join a team that invests across a broad global mix of private market products, including private equity, real estate, private credit, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and due diligence on 3rd party private market strategies for inclusion on the Harbourfront Wealth investment platform
  • Analyze the firm, investment team, investment philosophy, and investment process
  • Conduct quantitative analysis on 3rd party holdings and performance measures to identify key risk factors
  • Monitor the macroeconomic environment and key indicators related to investment strategies
  • Support the Office of the CIO in governance activities surrounding the Investment Committee
  • Participate in the Product Review Committee by contributing to investment research and approval-related activities
  • Document and publish research and lead/assist in presentation work
Requirements
  • CFA designation is a requirement
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field
  • Approximately 5 years of industry experience
  • Effective organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to write and present to external audiences
  • Proficiencies with the entire MS Office suite and Trading software
