As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive patent strategy that aligns with our business objectives. This includes identifying opportunities to leverage our existing patent assets, capturing new patentable innovations, and managing a team of business and technical subject matter experts.

• Develop and execute a patent strategy that supports our business objectives
• Manage a team of business and technical subject matter experts
• Oversee and provide direction to teams supporting our patent strategy, including Legal, CAPA, and Marketing
• Conduct technical and market assessments to support IP decision making
• Influence and present to senior level executives and board members
• Identify opportunities and risks in the patent landscape

• 5+ years' experience in a startup or focused entrepreneurial experience
• 5+ years' experience in technology & software development
• Proven ability to establish and execute large enterprise scale strategies and influence key senior executive stakeholders
• Experience presenting to and working closely with senior leadership, group managers, and IP professionals to develop patent business strategies
• Science or technical undergraduate degree preferred, post graduate degree is an asset
