The Durham District School Board is seeking qualified occasional teachers to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year.
Job Summary:
We are looking for dedicated and passionate teachers to fill occasional teaching positions in our schools. As an occasional teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in various schools and classrooms, supporting students and staff in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and support students in a variety of subjects and grade levels
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
Requirements:
- Ontario teaching certification and registration with the Ontario College of Teachers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
