Compassionate Home Health Care Professionals Wanted

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our home health care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

As a Registered Practical Nurse at Bayshore HealthCare, you will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and delivering nursing care to clients in a community setting. You will work under the direction of the immediate Supervisor and provide support and direction to unlicensed/registered employees involved in direct client care.
The RPN must demonstrate ongoing competency in completing all duties and responsibilities of this job description, in response to changes by the regulating body, as well as agreed-upon specific goals and objectives. Performance will be reviewed on an ongoing basis with a formal review at the end of the three-month probationary period and subsequently, on at least an annual basis.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed/Registered Practical Nursing Program; current registration with the provincial licensing body
- Previous experience in the acute care sector or long-term care
- Demonstrated clinical competencies
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize
