Job Description
As a Truck and Coach / Heavy Equipment Technician, you will perform mechanical repairs, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting, and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on various equipment. This role emphasizes welding and fabrication in our service shop.
Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and PDIs on heavy equipment.
- Conduct repairs in a timely and effective manner, communicating with the Service Writer and Parts team for optimal efficiency.
- Regularly perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections.
- Maintain an organized and safe work area and shop tools.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Journeyman technician or mechanic certification.
- 2+ years' experience working in a shop environment with welding and fabrication.
- A valid Driver's License with a Clean Abstract.
- Experience with hydraulic and/or electrical work is an asset.
