About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Department Manager to join our team at Easy Skill. As a key member of our Major Component Replacement (MCR) division, you will play a critical role in the design and safe delivery of our construction program and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure the successful delivery of our construction program and projects.
  • Develop and implement organizational plans and strategies to achieve our business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of a Nuclear Safety Culture by promoting a culture of safety and demonstrating commitment through words and actions.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies, processes, and procedures related to engineering and construction management.
  • Direct and hold subordinate management accountable for the delivery of their assigned missions and the construction lifecycle from inception to closeout.
  • Offer expert counsel to colleagues and department managers on complex engineering and construction theory, practices, and methodologies.
  • Represent MCR in matters of construction efforts and collaborate with department managers to ensure alignment with our overall corporate strategy and business plan.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience as a mid-level or higher manager in a construction-related function, with at least 5 years spent on complex design-build projects in a safety-critical environment.
  • Demonstrable record of delivering engineering and construction services for major, high-value capital construction programs and projects within the expected scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Highly developed communications, negotiation, conflict resolution, and leadership skills, including complex stakeholder interfaces.
  • University degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience in a related field.
