Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at ABS Truck and Trailers Parts Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tire technology and be able to perform various tasks related to heavy equipment maintenance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our mechanics to ensure that all heavy equipment is properly maintained and serviced. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Adding or replacing hydraulic and transmission fluids;
  • Assisting mechanics and performing other duties as directed;
  • Changing engine oil and lubricating running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment;
  • Greasng booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment;
  • Installing replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators;
  • Providing on-site services;
  • Repairing and balancing tires;
  • Replacing oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A strong understanding of tire technology and heavy equipment maintenance;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and customers.
Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
