Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Services Manager to join our team at PHSA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic priorities, coordinating operational planning and implementation, and providing overall leadership and direction to team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic priorities and operational plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Manage clinical service area operations, including coordinating staffing, supplies, and resources.
- Develop and implement effective practices and processes to measure resource utilization and quality of care.
- Lead quality improvement activities, including identifying evidence-based outcomes, developing quality indicators, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field, plus a minimum of 7-10 years of recent related clinical experience, including 2 years in a managerial/leadership capacity.
- Current registration/membership with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) or an appropriate recognized professional association.
- Proven leadership ability, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to relate easily to a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong skills in operations management, including critical thinking, problem resolution, and human and fiscal resource management.
- Ability to lead teams and promote teamwork, and to develop and foster a culture of education and research aimed at improving care delivery and patient outcomes.
