Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Coordinator | Central Functions to join our team at Interior Health. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and evaluating provincial, regional, and site-wide initiatives to improve and maintain site and program operations and staff safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement provincial, regional, and site-wide initiatives to improve and maintain site and program operations and staff safety.
  • Liaise with department managers to provide a standard approach to Workplace Health and Safety Initiatives.
  • Retrieve, analyze, and present strategic utilization information to support operational and administrative decision-making.
  • Guide and coordinate activities of assigned areas in accordance with professional standards and support the goals and strategic direction of IH.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe work environment by complying with and implementing applicable Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.
  • Represent Clinical Operations and Clinical Services at the assigned service area(s) and IH level by participating in committees/teams as required.
Requirements
  • A diploma in Business Management, Human Resources, Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience, including a minimum two years of leadership experience.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
