About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Maximum Home Support Services Inc. As a Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laundering and Household Duties: You will be responsible for laundering clothing and household linens, as well as performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Personal Care: You will provide personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities.
  • Meal Preparation: You will prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients.
  • Certification and Screening: You will be required to obtain a Certificate of Conduct and undergo a criminal record check.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: You will work in various locations, including clients' homes.
  • Physical Capabilities: You will be required to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as repetitive tasks.
Personal Suitability
  • Punctuality: You must be punctual and reliable.
  • Client Focus: You must be able to focus on the needs of clients.
  • Dependability: You must be dependable and able to work independently.
Work Conditions
  • Hours: You will work 20 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: You must be fluent in English.
  • Work Term: This is a casual position.
