Wellness Coordinator

The Wellness Assistant is a key role in supporting the health and well-being of students, faculty, and staff at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. This position is responsible for coordinating and administering comprehensive wellness services, including health promotion, disease prevention, and mental health support.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement wellness initiatives and programs that support the campus community.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including student services, human resources, and external partners.
- Provide support and resources to students, faculty, and staff on wellness-related topics, including mental health, physical activity, and nutrition.
- Collaborate with the Wellness Steering Committee to develop and implement the wellness model and associated services.
- Communicate and market wellness services to the campus community through various channels, including Our Collaborate, student and staff portals, and social media.
- Preference will be given to a current Saskatchewan Polytechnic student in good standing.
- Experience working with health, wellness, and fitness programming service providers.
- Ability to work independently and exercise judgment.
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail.
- Able to prioritize, manage time, and multiple and competing priorities in a highly visible service area.
- Support understanding and experience with providing adaptations for a variety of abilities for use of services/facilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates valuing diversity.
