About the Role

TasNetworks is seeking a visionary leader to drive exceptional communication and engagement strategies, enhancing a positive brand and building meaningful community relationships.

This dynamic role takes ownership of stakeholder maturity, community engagement, and energy charter strategies, guiding a team of professionals in delivering initiatives in line with regulatory and community requirements.

The successful candidate will be passionate about driving positive brand and stakeholder engagement, holding relevant tertiary qualifications and proven success in a similar senior leadership role.

Key responsibilities include leading and empowering complex teams, influencing and building strong trust-based stakeholder relationships, and communicating effectively to various audiences.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering a healthy remuneration and benefits package, with relocation assistance available to preferred candidates not currently living in Tasmania.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a contemporary and dynamic leader with the ability to influence and build strong stakeholder relationships.

You will have demonstrated experience in communicating to a variety of audiences, including facilitating and leading meetings, and managing critical stakeholders such as Ministers, government agencies, and peak bodies.

As a collaborative and supportive team player, you will be passionate about driving positive change and contributing to a sustainable, renewable energy future in Tasmania.
