Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams on complex projects
  • Develop and implement project execution plans and schedules for the ongoing management of performance
  • Provide technical guidance in rail operations, contract management, standards, and procedures, and direction in project execution and construction activities
  • Resolve disputes with clients, partners, subs, public entities, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain positive personal contact and relationships with major clients, partners, and unions

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or Technical Diploma/ equivalent training and experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of construction experience with rail-related projects
  • Knowledge and experience in all three elements of the Electrification and Plant discipline, including Overhead Line Equipment (OLE), 25kV Power Distribution, and Low Voltage Electrical systems
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate employees and deployment of field resources on projects of various size and complexity
  • Project Management Expertise on complex Joint Venture or Private Public Partnership style projects
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with public officials, Board of Directors, subordinates, peers, and the general public
