About the Role

We are seeking an experienced mechanical assembler to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a mechanical assembler, you will play a critical role in preparing engines for shipment to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure product integrity, details, configuration, and operational costs by following established procedures.

  • Observe and review the results of assembly and test work performed by others to ensure compliance standards.

Requirements
  • Vocational diploma (DEP) in mechanical assembly.
  • College diploma (AEC/DEC) in aircraft maintenance.
  • College diploma (DEC) in aerospace engineering.
  • Mechanical aircraft engine technician diploma (military diploma).
  • Knowledge of aircraft engine assembly methods and procedures, including fits and tolerances.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and gauges, hand tools, and other specialized assembly equipment.
  • Ability to work from complex assembly drawings and specifications and test instructions that require the use of shop mathematics.
  • Fluency in French (written and verbal).
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues.
