Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver - Transportation Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Alberta Ltd. as a Transportation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption

Requirements:

  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset

Working Conditions: This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
