Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify issues and malfunctions
  • Repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Or equivalent experience
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and manual dexterity. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 40 hours per week.
