About Amy's Helping Hands

We are a locally owned family business in Windsor, Ontario, providing private 1-1 home care services to seniors in the community. Our mission is to provide exceptional care and support to our clients, while also creating a positive and rewarding experience for our caregivers.

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and caring individuals to join our team as Personal Support Workers (PSWs). As a PSW with Amy's Helping Hands, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with our clients and provide personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, and dressing
  • Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
  • Transport clients to appointments and errands
  • Provide personal care, including medication reminders and incontinence care
Requirements
  • PSW certificate or RPN diploma (working as a PSW) or nursing students
  • Good driving record and valid driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and up to date on immunizations
  • Pass a criminal background check (Vulnerable Sector)
