Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team at Advance Forming Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, preparing layouts, and constructing foundations, floor beams, and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
Work Environment

As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in various locations, and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
