The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting lawyers in their assigned practice group with corporate M&A and corporate tax matters, from onset to completion. This will include mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, due diligence matters, review of corporate records, preparation of related material, organizing record books, and other corporate maintenance tasks.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have a solid understanding of current legal terminology and federal and provincial corporate statutes. You will also need to be able to work independently, take initiative, and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
