Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Glass Cutter to join our team at Wescon Cedar Products Ltd. As a Glass Cutter, you will be responsible for operating finishing machines to grind, drill, sand, bevel, decorate, wash, or polish glass or glass products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various machines to process glass products, ensuring high-quality finishes and meeting production specifications.
  • Inspect products visually to identify any defects or irregularities.
  • Weigh, measure, and check production samples to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Examine and mark defective glass to optimize cutting and minimize waste.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in glass processing or a related field is an asset.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
